Open door is a friendship club for people aged 55 and over. Many of our members come from nearby retirement housing.
We meet from 11am to 1.30pm at The Barnabas Centre on Mondays (except Bank Holidays). Please ring ahead to see what we are up to this week!
Open Door is a mixture of social time, tea, coffee & biscuits, activities, trips and a light lunch.
Activities include musical entertainment, painting, beetle drives, board games, Bingo, and plenty of ideas that will come from you!
We will invite a variety of speakers to come and give presentations about all sorts of local and international issues, from local history to African adventures!
We will have a light lunch every week for just £2.50. We also arrange a Christmas dinner together.
We may occasionally run trips to different place or events of interest to the group.
Open Door is run by a team of people from Barnabas Community Church. Our aim is to provide a warm, friendly place to make friends, have fun and find support and encouragement.
If you would like further information about Open Door please contact the Barnabas Centre Office on Tel : 01743 364101.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU SOON!
