Sometimes it can be really daunting when you want to get in touch with or visit a Church for the first time.
Here is our rough guide of how it all works!
If you are interested in the Christian faith but not really sure where to look then please consider coming on an Alpha Course which we have found to be the best way for people to explore the great questions of life for themselves and make their own decision.
If you are moving to Shrewsbury and are looking for a local church then please do contact us. It would be great if you could come along one Sunday morning and see what we are about for yourselves. If you decide Barnabas is not the place for you we can recommend other local Churches and give contact details for them.
If you are moving to Barnabas from another Church we would want that process to be done in a way that is honouring to both Churches.
Everyone new to the Church will be invited to an evening called "Introducing Barnabas" which is an opportunity to meet the leadership of the Church and hear about what values under pin our Church and what the vision is for the future. This is a great way of finding out more about us and seeing if Barnabas really can be your home Church. You can email us or call us at the Church office. Please see the "Contact us" section!
You can also visit one Sunday morning and fill in a "visitor form" on the noticesheet you are given on arrival. As you arrive you will be welcomed by one of our welcome team. Introduce yourself and explain that you are visiting and we will help to make sure you settle in. If you have children we will explain about their groups and show you to a seat.
