Why Midweek groups?

There are major values we hold as a church which midweek groups allow us to express.
Growing in faith: We believe that every member of Church has gifts to share with the rest of the body. Every week in cell there is the opportunity to lead a welcome section, to lead a worship time, to lead a bible study, to lead a prayer time, to provide hospitality, to share spiritual gifts. A midweek group is an opportunity for people to use their gifts and abilities.
Looking after each other: A midweek group is an opportunity to share friendship and care for each other. We can't know everyone on a Sunday, but everyone can have deep and long lasting friendships within midweek groups.
Sharing our faith: A midweek group is an opportunity to encourage each other as we live as witnesses to what Jesus has done in our lives. Midweek groups Cells will be praying for and seeking to encourage us with our families, our friends and our workplaces.
Building a strong church: Just like smaller cells are the "building blocks of life" we want to see our midweek groups as the building blocks of our Church life. We want to see people within our groups grow, our groups grow in number, and for new groups to develop.
