Why Cell?
(from scripture)
We believe the biblical model of church life involves a lot more community life, hopsitality and friendship than a meeting once a week on a Sunday can provide.
We often see in the New Testament that groups of believers met in homes.
Acts 2:46-47 - Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 5:42 - Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.
Romans 16:3-5 - Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them. Greet also the church that meets at their house.
